She is a wrestler on the circuit of independent wrestlers around the globe, including the Women Superstars Uncensored, Shimmer Women Athletes and SHINE.Kay joined the new promotion Shine Wrestling in 2012. On the first Shine Wrestling show, she was part of a group formed by Taylor Made. They defeated Tracy Taylor and Su Yung.April Hunter later joined the group, with the trio calling themselves Made in Sin. Made in Sin defeated Taylor Yung Tim in a six women tag match. Valkyrie is the name assigned to the stable following Rain Velez joined Ivelisse. Valkyrie beat Amazing Kong in a tag-team match against Angelina Love and Christina Von Eerie in Shine 8. Kay got a spot as a qualifier to The Shine Championship Tournament at the Shine 10 Internet Pay-Per-View in May 2013. Lexie Fyfe ejected Kay after she interfered in the main event, which featured Angelina Love (an ally) and Rain. Kay was back at Shine 13 and teamed with Ivelisse for a win against Amazing Kong and Jessicka Havok.
