Amy Smart

Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Amy was born and raised in California in the USA. The career in modeling began in Italy. The actress made her debut in the year 1996 with the TV film "Her Costly Affair'. After a tough transition her first film, she was offered a tiny role in the Starship Troopers.' It was an extremely difficult time when she had to change from modelling to acting as the models were not thought of as actors, and they were usually given smaller and inconsequential parts. But somehow, Amy was determined to keep going and stepped into bigger roles later, beginning with the series 'The 70's", and a film called "Varsity blues'. The 2005 romantic comedy film "Just Friends" which starred Ryan Reynolds gave her her debut leading part. The film became a massive film at the box office and Amy had finally found the recognition she'd been trying for for more than 10 years. Amy continued working in important films, such as the "Crank" film, which featured Jason Statham.
